samples for aly

hello everyone i was lucky enough to be asked to make some samples for the fantastic aly.

but unfortunately yesterday  (Tuesday) wasn't my time for 'fame' unlike some lovely ladies  i know but my time will come lol.

until im famous here is the samples i did for the lovely aly at alys inky fingers

using the millie mae stamp set here is what i made..

so firstly i decide to do a little notebook.

i stamped the lovely millie mae sitting on some books on to white card then i paper pieced her dress with purple backing paper. i used the same purple backing paper to back the book.

i mat and layered the stamp with some purple card then i stamped the sentiment 'sending you miles of smiles' on tot he same purple card adding it to the top of the image. i then stamped two little butterflies half on and half off the white card.

to finish off i then added pink and purple ribbon tot he top spine of the book.

i then made a card.

the card i chose already has the scene on of the bear knocking on the door. 

so i decide to stamp millie mae up sitting on the chair in the window. i coloured her in using promarkers.

i then stamped the sentiment 'especially for you' across the top.

and stamped some vines going across the bottom of the card up to the window ledge.

using the perfect papillon stamps here is what i made..

i decided to make a altered pen holder (as you may have noticed im trying to make one for every colour for my promarkers lol i used one the butterflies stamping it on to acetate and using glitter glue i made it all sparkly lol.

i covered the tin using some scrap paper added a nice yellow ribbon and bow then added the butterfly at an angle.

here is a closer view of the butterfly.

i then decided to do a CAS oval plate card.

i cut the oval out using the same purple card as the notebook.

i then stamped the sentiment 'love is like a butterfly it goes where it pleases and pleases where ever it goes'

mat and layering it on to pink card.

i then added a pink and purple butterfly gem to two of the corners.

i then stamped the little butterfly and the butterfly trail to the top and bottom of the plate.
