DT for Critter Sketch-Emboss

this is my final dt for Critter Sketch  beofre i step down ready for the next set of DT members

so the theme this time is emboss here is what i made using a soft pencil image

i made this halloween door hanger.

i coloured the image using promarkers.

then embossed the 'boo' with embossing glitter.

i then added the spider which i got from tescos as it broke of one of there decorations lol.

DT for Vintage Elusions-just lace

well its challenge time again over at Vintage Elusions and this week the theme is just lace.

we are sponsored by the fantastic smudgtastic and stamping with the dragon

so using an image from smudgetastic here is what i made..

i coloured the image using purple and black pormakers adding it to the purple and black card.

i then added a black lace bow to the top of the card and the purple and black lace running across the bottom.

i then rolled up some bits of white lace and added a purple gem in the middle adding them to the side of the image.

i then added the sentiment 'forget the ghosts beware of me' at the bottom.

DT for Glitternsparkle-Halloween/Bonfire

morning everyone hope your all ok today

its challenge time again over at glitter n sparkle and the theme this week is bonfire/Halloween

we have three fantastic sponsors this week which are..

when the scrap hits the fun where marion is offering the winner her fab mr&mrs snowman collection

and floppy latte who is offer the winner $10 to spend in store or $12 if its a floppy latte image the winner used.

so using two lovely Halloween images from floppy latte here is what i made.

i decided to make both images in to toppers for my treat bags ready for Halloween (that my nanan pinched ready) lol

for the first one i used the blue distress ink to make the sky and cut it out including her foot (which i mended lol)

this on i just cut out with the fancy scissors then coloured the first letter of each word with orange promarker

Samples fro alys inky fingers

hello its me again blogging twice in a day check me out lol

well i didnt see any of my samples on create and craft but you will do one day trust me lol.

anyway here is a selection of what i made for aly 

firstly i made this card based on the baubles and the noel stamps. 

adding ribbon to attach the bauble to the top of the card.

i then made this skating scene using the skaters and branch stamps.

i then did the ourdoor scene adding trees the stars deers and glitter

i then did this calender for next december using the igloo snowmen and ice icles stamps 

i then did this gift tag using the church and houses and the merry christmas stamps

i then used a wooden bell i had stamped the igloo on to it and embossed some glitter on to it

i then stamped the camels around this wooden box and.....

made a selection of hairclips to go in it using the snowmen, robin, snowflake and stars

i the did these selection of twinchies  using several of the stamps

i then made thw topper for the gift bag using millie mae (dont know why its side ways) lol

i also stamped a tile with one of the butterfly sentiments and loads of glitter but clever me forgot to take a pic lol

good morning everyone how are well all today hope the weathers half deecent for you all.

well nearly time for me to go to work for the last shift with my partner in crime lol  so work will be even crapper come monday :(

so using 'fancy' from Stitchy Bear here is what i made...

i decided to make a thanks you Halloween card for my partner in crimes daughter.

his daughter drew me a pic the other day of me complete with blue hair so thought id make her something nice.

i coloured the image using promarkers then added it to the die cut mat and layering it with a bigger die cut.

i then added the purple and green resin flower down the side 

and the 'thank you so much' peel offs down the other side.

DT for Creative Moments Blogger Network-Make it spooky

good morning everyone well its wet wondy and dark here :( and i have to shortly leave you all to go to work.

before i go to work i would like to let you all know about the brilliant challenge that has just started over at Creative Moments Bloggers Network

the theme this fortnight is make it spooky/anything goes and here is what i made..

i decided to make a rocker card and its quick and easy.

i coloured the pumpkin using distress ink and the leaves using promarker.

i then added it to the folded circle and wrote happy Halloween in white pen.

good morning everyone well it was a challange and a half this weekend doing the dt for Vntage Elusions  but saying that i had fun making it...

so this time the theme is ephemera and if you like me and havent got a clue how to say the word never mind know what it is below is a quick definition..


What is ephemera?
If you've heard the word ephemera and wondered what it is, here you go. Ephemera is anything that wouldn't normally be considered something to collect, save, cherish or keep (or for that matter, display on a scrapbook page). Make sense? If not, here's a list of some items that might be considered ephemera (and this is just a very small list):
- playing cards
- postcards
- dominoes

- tarot cards
- coin and paper money
- ticket stubs
- lottery tickets
- game pieces
- office objects like paper clips, post its, Rolodex cards
- keys
- toothpicks
- tiles or mosaics
- old maps
- miniature items such as those found in doll house stores
- compasses
- glass
- watch parts
- packaging of all kinds
- magazine ads
- old book pages

- plastic and acryllic
- feathers, leaves etc.

so baring that in mind here is what i made using fallen angel by delicious doodles 

so i decided to make a victorian shoe.

i changed from team b to team a so only had the weekend to do this and didnt have any newspaper of really anything on the list lol so i decided to make my own 'newspaper' 

i did this by stamping my the 'writing' (from alys inky fingers) on to paper then using my tim holts distress reinker i spritzed it and left to dry.

i then cut out the template agian from the paper and glues it to the shoe.

then i used the left over paper to make paper flowers.

then i inked the edges of the digi before adding it to the front of the shoe

i added card candie, leaf and a domino.

this is the side view of the show so you can see the wooden domino.

and the other side showing the flowers and the leaf (can see this better from front view)
