hello everyone and welcome to my blog....as you will be able to tell im still new to this and have a long way to go so please bear with me :) all feed back is welcome good or bad as it will help to to know if my work is good or if to improve it... my main work for the blog is card making but am steadily starting to make boxes and will eventully move on to other things thanks again for reading cant wait for your feed back

DT for Challenges 4 Everybody

well its challenge time again over at challenges 4 everybody 

 and here is what i made 

i decided to make a rocker card. 

i covered the card with red polka dot paper.
i then coloured the image using promarkers adding it to the card.
i then added the white and red flowers and the 'with love' sentiment

DT for Glitter n Sparkle-Buttons and Bows

hello eveyone hope you all have a fantastic Sunday.

 i would like to say a big well done to our first set of winners :) pop over to the blog to see if your a winner.

 its time for challenge two over at Glitter n Sparkle and the theme is buttons and bows.

 this wee we are sponsored by Digi Darlas who is offering the winner 5 digis

 and Daisy Doodles who is offering the second winner 3 digis 

 so using the poinsettia image from daisy doodles here is what i made..



i decided to use the image as a gift tag for xmas 
i coloured the image using promarkers then added glamour dust
after it was dried i added a few buttons to the ends as well as the ribbon and the bow at the top.

then using another image from daisy doodles i made this...


i covered my card blank using blue polka dot paper.
i then coloured the image using promarkers and added gems to the dragonflies trail
and added the purple flowers to the top.

then been the forgetful person i am i realised the theme was buttons and bows so had to add the button to the centre of the flowers as well as the blur ribbon and bow down the left hand side and a button to the bottom of it.

DT for Daisy Doodles-autumn gold and brown

hello every one its challenge time over at Daisy Doodles (yes i know this is late but so was jules post so dont blame me) lol

 this time the challenge is autumn and we are looking to see you use golds and browns

 so here is my card using scarecrow joe...

to make this i coloured the digi using different shades of brown and gold.
i then covered my card blank with brown paper and a strip of gold card. i then mat and layered the digi on to some gold card and added to the card blank.
i then added 3 gold gems to the top of the card and 3 brown gems to the gold strip.

DT for critter sketch-sketch

morning all well the new challenge over at critter sketch went live yesterday but blogger been blogger has only just let me finish writing my blog post.

 so the theme this week is a sketch which you can see below.

we are sponsored this month by soft pencil who have some cute little digis :)

 so following the setch and using the little mermade her is what i came up with....



firstly i used my distress ink on the card black itself spraying with a mist of water i left it to dry.
i then coloured the image usining promarkers.
adding the image to some fancy blue paper i mounted it on to the card black.
i then cut out a piece of white card mounted on to the same backing paper and wrote 'happy birthday' in a blue fine pen. 
i then folded the bottom corner and left it at that....simple

DT card for Glitter n Sparkle-Anything goes

well today has quickly come round its the first challenge over at GlitternSparkle and with it been our first challenge we though we'd be kind to you all and go with an anything goes challenge..

 we have 3 brilliant sponsors this week which are

 so here is what i made using hatter madness from fresh brewed designs...


Firstly i decided to make a card.
i did this by colouring the digi with a mix of promarkers and fine nibbed pens
i then cut out the digi mat n layering it with a silver die cut.
i then placed it on the card blank with some silver ribbon and a big silver bow (first time ive actually used the bow maker properly) lol

i then decided to use the same image on a candle.
again i coloured it using a mixture of promarkers and fine nibbed pens

DT for Fat pages and cards with Attitude-red yellow and orange

ITS FRIDAY!!!!!!
can you tell its my favourite time of the week lol. well its challenge time over at fat pages and cards with attitude and this time the theme is RED, ORANGE AND YELLOW.

 the sponsors this time are Meljens Designs who are offering the winner 3 digis and 

 Beccy's place who is also offering the winner 3 digis 

 so using the acorn mouse from meljens designs here is what i made.


so i started to colour the image in brown and realise the theme was red yellow and orange so decide to corporate them colours in to the rest of my card lol.

i coloured the image using promarkers.
i then added it to the orange polka dot paper. then added the yellow paper at the bottom which i cut using a border punch.
i then added the yellow and orange flower to the bottom corner as well as the red leaves up the side which i punched out.

NEWS and DT for Creative Moments Bloggers Network

morning how are we all today??

 i am very excited as i got asked to be part of the fantastic DT for Creative Moments Bloggers Network which goes live for the first time NOW....

 to ease us DT and you guys in gently this fortnights theme is anything goes.

 here is what i made using burlesque Nicole from the brilliant chrissie at CDeeDesigns....

to make this i coloured the image using pink and brown promarkers i inked around the edge of the digi using pink ink.
i then covered the card blank with pink card at an angle. 
then adding some brown card just above the centre of the card i put pink and brown ribbon across the centre of it adding a pink bow to the side.
