WELCOME

hello everyone and welcome to my blog....as you will be able to tell im still new to this and have a long way to go so please bear with me :) all feed back is welcome good or bad as it will help to to know if my work is good or if to improve it... my main work for the blog is card making but am steadily starting to make boxes and will eventully move on to other things thanks again for reading cant wait for your feed back

book in a box

 This is the end result of my book in a box....omg how fiddly was the cutting out lol but actully pretty easy to do just took a few days waiting for glue to dry then i forgot about it over the weekend lol.  As you can see i went with the theme of green/blue  as i think they go well together.

 This is a close up of the book i chose the green paper to go with the white card with green tags on as they went well together. i curled the ends to give it a nice 3d look. then added ribbon to act as a book mark. The paper and card was from kanban whilst the ribbon star and with love/happy birthday peel offs were from my own stash.
 This is the box on its own i dind twant to do anything too fancy so just went with four flowers in each corner sticking with the colours used in the book. The paper used for flowers again was from kanban whilst the card buttons and twin were from my own stash.
this is a close up of one of the flowers on the box. as you can see i went with a small green button and threaded through blue twin. i did this on opposite corners and the other corners are a blue button with green twine.
