DT for Artistic Inspirations-celebrations

well here is my first post for 2013 ok its a day late but its not my fault i don't now what day were on lol.. 
i hope you've all had a fantastic new year and enjoy your dinners!!!

so now all the festivities are over i may be ale to keep track of days and blog on time lol.

yesturday was a new challenge over at Artistic Inspirations and the theme is celebrations.

so using QKR image summer treat i made this...

i coloured the image using promarkers i chose a mix of browns to make her look like the olden day people

i then found the brown card blank in my stash so though it was ideal to use 

i then added some gold and brown ribbon tot he card blank and a bow

i then added the image and found some gold floral peel offs that i added to the top and bottom corners.

and using the cupcake image from Limited Runs here is what i made... 

i made this card for a friends birthday that is on Friday (im a brilliant friend and know its on Friday as i remembered she moaned that Derek Branning is having his funeral on her birthday (eastenders) so i thought bugger best look through the tv mag and see what day its on lol.

i coloured the image using stampin' write pens 

i then covered the card blank using some pink glittery flower card. i then added the image as well as some cupcake stickers i found in my stash

i then added the 'surprise' in  the top left hand corner and a gold peel off present in the bottom
