DT for Daisy Doodles

As some of you may have already noticed from the update at the side of my blog yesterday i am now part of the fantastic DT over at Daisy Doodles. I am really glad they chose me to be paert if the team it means a lot and really made my day s i found out about it on my birthday so was an added bonus to me :). My first card will be up on the 4th of june (so id better crack on and finish it ) so why not pop over to see my card and enter the challenge but in the meantime there still time to entre this forghnites challenge which is 'beary cute' so come on boys and girls hunt them cute little bears out of the drawers and give it a go :)

cheeky bum

not done a card over the weekend as ive been enjoying the sun way too much got a little burnt on my legs and stomach but ill never learn lol..

here is a card i did luckily a few weeks ago for a friends birthday today (which id actually forgot about) :)

the card template is from 'booties and boobs' diamond card crafts....the paper ribbon and lace are all from my own stash as well as the happy birthday peel off and the heart 'tattoo' peel offs

spotlight stamping

This is my first attempt at spotlight stamping and i loved it as it is quick and easy :) i chose to use the vase with flowers in stamp as its simple yet affective. i stamped the image on to normal card then part of it again on to an oval die cut and coloured in the petals and parts of the leaves. I then decided to add the red butterfly ribbon and the green dragonflies to go with the colours used in the image.

DT card for Fat pages and cards with attitude-Anything goes

i chose the digi 'steampunk sally' as she reminded me of the old school type tattoo's and i love tattoos lol. with the theme being 'anything goes' i opted for the black and red option as i think it looks really nice together and makes the digi really stand out. i then added the feather to the hat for a bit of addd detail and lso the card candi on the left hand side for that bit extra xx

book in a box

This is the end result of my book in a box....omg how fiddly was the cutting out lol but actully pretty easy to do just took a few days waiting for glue to dry then i forgot about it over the weekend lol. As you can see i went with the theme of green/blue as i think they go well together.

This is a close up of the book i chose the green paper to go with the white card with green tags on as they went well together. i curled the ends to give it a nice 3d look. then added ribbon to act as a book mark. The paper and card was from kanban whilst the ribbon star and with love/happy birthday peel offs were from my own stash.

This is the box on its own i dind twant to do anything too fancy so just went with four flowers in each corner sticking with the colours used in the book. The paper used for flowers again was from kanban whilst the card buttons and twin were from my own stash.

this is a close up of one of the flowers on the box. as you can see i went with a small green button and threaded through blue twin. i did this on opposite corners and the other corners are a blue button with green twine.

your the best

this is one of the latest cards made in craft class this week. This is one of the new lovely forever friends stamps. the backing paper and card candy is from my own stash (well lindyloo's) lol this is also the first card where i have attempted shading so actually really pleased with it.
